player safety
THE Ohio 7on7 Collective is dedicated to ensuring player safety by partnering with GameBreaker and requiring all athletes to wear their patented SoftShell Helmets. These innovative helmets provide enhanced protection against head injuries while maintaining comfort and ventilation, allowing players to perform at their best without compromising safety.
ohsaa compliance
Through its partnership with SportsThread, THE Ohio 7on7 Collective is committed to ensuring that teams and players remain compliant with the Ohio High School Athletic Association (OHSAA) 7-on-7 rulings. THE Collective will effectively monitor team compositions and enforce the guideline that no team can have more than seven players from the same high school or middle school. This system not only streamlines roster management but also promotes fair play and competitive integrity within the league. By prioritizing compliance with OHSAA regulations, THE Ohio 7on7 Collective fosters a level playing field, allowing athletes to develop their skills in a structured and equitable environment.
coaches honor code
THE Ohio 7on7 Collective operates under a strict honor code for coaches to promote integrity and fairness within the program. In accordance with OHSAA regulations, 7-on-7 teams will require players from various schools to participate under the guidance of a coach not affiliated with their own institution.Coaches are expressly prohibited from actively recruiting players from other teams that are in THE Collective to transfer to their school. Should a player independently communicate their intention to transfer, it is the responsibility of the receiving coach to notify the player's current coach within 24 hours of receiving this information. Violators of this policy will be removed from THE Collective.
